Britney Doesn’t Have That “X-Factor”

Guess you really can’t “hold it against” anyone.

US Weekly is stating that after one season, pop legend Britney Spears might be let go of her $15 million position behind the X-Factor judge’s table. The show’s creator, Simon Cowell, is said to be part of the reason for letting her go after hiring her along with Demi Lovato back in May.

The other reason? She’s just plain boring!

They paid all that for her to say ‘amazing’ and offer half-claps,” [an insider] tells Us.

Adds [another] source of show co-creator Simon Cowell, who is leading the charge to axe the performer: “He wanted crazy Britney, but he got boring Britney.”

X-Factor hasn’t really been doing well in keeping their employees: Nicole Scherzinger, Paula Abdul and Steve Jones were all fired in season one, UK singer Cheryl Cole was fired before the live shows even began and L.A. Reid quit the show following this season, even though one of his contestants (Tate Stevens) ended up winning the competition.

I’m pretty sure the show itself will get the cut next.
