There is no other way to word this: American Idol country superstar Carrie Underwood is officially the best person in music.
Now, all singers have their off days for various reasons (right, Susan Boyle?). Carrie herself had lost her voice at an earlier Chicago concert for her Blown Away tour, but decided to continue with the tour and appear in Des Moines, Iowa on Friday. However, she felt that as the show went on, she wasn’t fully able to give her best.
In the middle of the show, Carrie addressed the audience.
“I feel real guilty about making any money on this show tonight,” she expressed. “So whatever I’m making is just going to go right back into this community.”
That’s right: all of that night’s tickets proceeds were given back to the people of Des Moines.
Some people could learn from that (right, Britney?)
