The legendary actor Jack Klugman, who probably made many of your parents (and grandparents) laugh at his portrayal of the sloppy, but loveable Oscar Madison on TV’s The Odd Couple passed away suddenly at the age of 90.
Klugman had been sick earlier this year, but had seemed to be getting better — before losing his life on Christmas Eve.
He had been through another health scare in the 80′s: he battled throat cancer (Klugman was known to be a heavy smoker). It was so bad, he had to learn the ability to communicate vocally once more.
He also appeared in the movie 12 Angry Men and the television show Quincy M.E., which was just a small part of a career that lasted nearly 60 years.
