There’s adoring a celebrity to the point of obsession — and then, there’s the Beliebers, who have notoriously taken their “love” to scary heights.
In a recent development, fans have started a terrifying trend on Twitter to rally against the young star for his recent pot scandal.
Tagged “cutting4bieber”, young girls around the world have taken sharp objects to their bodies and slashed in hopes of getting him to stop enjoying the controversial drug, even creating a website with pictures showing off bloody body parts.
Even Miley Cyrus, who has been known to enjoy some “salvia” from time to time had to speak up about it.
“#cut4bieber? Cutting is NOT something to joke about”, she said via her own Twitter. “There are people who are actually suffering from self-harm, this is so disrespectful.”
What’s not so disrespectful? Sleeping with a “member” of One Direction — which Miley shared today on the site.
But what does that have to do with this story? It doesn’t have anything to do with it — but it does with the one following it. DUN DUN DUN!
