Well, there’s always a silver lining, right?
American Idol winner Kris Allen (he took the crown back in 2009) and his wife, Kimberly were involved in a pretty bad car accident yesterday. The 27-year-old’s mother shared the news via her Twitter
“From Kris: he’s in a lot of pain, arm broke, may not play guitar for a while. Prayers welcome please! #headoncollision,” she shared along with a shot of the singer (who didn’t look too thrilled at that moment, for understandable reasons).
He’ll have to undergo some surgery on his arm, but he will be just fine.
Kris himself hit up the Twitterverse a bit later to thank the company behind his vehicle and share what would be the “good news” of this story.
“Thank you @ford for equipping me with a car that kept my whole family @katyallen @ZorroPup and the little one we have on the way safe,” he wrote. “Yes I got in a really bad wreck tonight and yes I’m having a lil baby. #gonnabeadaddy.”
He also reassured everyone that his tour for his latest album will indeed go on.
“Don’t worry everyone I may have broken my wrist but the #OutAliveTour is still on.”
