The need to prove yourself right literally may have led to the death of paparazzo Chris Guerra.
In a surprising twist, it turns out Justin Bieber is a pot smoker — and TMZ obtained photos of the pop star lighting up with friends a day after he was killed.
Taken at a private party in a Newport Beach hotel room, the shots show the young singer lighting up with his cohorts including rapper Lil’ Twist, who actually was the one driving the car Guerra was chasing after when another vehicle hit him and ended his life.
According to sources, Twist, Justin and the partygoers smoked a whole bunch of it that night. And just like Prince Harry before him, The Biebs’ security detail was in the room with them, not really caring about the pics (I wonder why).

As for talking points — sources tell us Bieber was chatting it up about how tired he was because he’d been staying up late recently. Shockingly, we’re told the conversation eventually turned to late night fast food … and where they could get it.
We’re told a girl also crashed in the hotel room with Justin — NOT Selena. It’s unclear if they hooked up.
Photographer Chris Guerra had claimed he saw Justin smoking weed out of a pipe, but his people moved as fast as they could to snub the blunt those words out, saying that he was known to lie and make up stories about the singer.
