Usually, a stalker doesn’t seem to understand what going too far actually means — because that whole threat of “love me or die” is always OK — but in the case of actress Alyson Hannigan’s recent problem in that area, the guy seriously scares himself enough to know he needs to keep a good distance from the How I Met Your Mother star.
Back in February, she gained an order of protection against stalker John Hobbs, who had sent her “harassing messages online” and threatened to kill her.
But in court today, Hobbs actually agreed he was a threat to her and promised to do just what he was ordered to — stay 100 yards away from her and her family for three years.
Now, if only other people got the point so easily.
People like Edward Furlong, perhaps? Just sayin’.
