It’s becoming more and more obvious by the moment that something deep definitely went down between Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore in order to cause them to separate and eventually head for divorce — but the icing on the cake came yesterday when Demi demanded spousal support from him, even though she’s loaded.
The thing is, she would never actually get any money from him because she’s definitely just as well off as he is — and maybe richer than that — so many believe that this is just some kind of attack for something that may have occurred between the two of them.
That said … multiple sources connected with the former couple tell us … Demi and Ashton are in the midst of negotiating a financial settlement, and her lawyer knows the more Demi asks for, the better she’ll do in the end.
We’re told they’re actually pretty close to striking a deal — and it WON’T involve spousal support.
I have a feeling we’ll be seeing some kind of “confidentiality clause” in there, too — but you didn’t hear it from me.
