It’s getting way too easy for certain hot messes to point their fingers everywhere else when things are getting too hectic — you’ll see a certain pattern of that with the posts following this one — and of course, when you’re Lindsay Lohan, maybe that’s the better option.
So what have we done this time? Heavily distorted the truth regarding her lawyer, Mark Heller and his competence to be a proper lawyer, according to sources.
LiLo’s saying that “it’s all lies” when it comes to what we know about him — even though we doubt a judge would lie or the recording of any proceedings in court — and she plans to keep him on, no matter what we or any judge says.
In case you’re forgetting, Heller seems to keep screwing up from the little to the not-so-much and Judge James Dabney said that he was incompetent to perform law in California and is re-ordering Linds to court for the next hearing to “explain why she would be waiving her right to a lawyer who knows what he’s doing”.
Even her father, Michael has promised he’d pay for a more suitable prosecutor to fight her troubles, but she turned that down, too.
She has 12 days to decide what to do — the trial begins on the 18th — and if she sticks with Heller, chances are she may end up with an orange outfit to rock for a while.
I’m still waiting for that point where I’m supposed to be feeling sorry for her — hey, there’s always tomorrow.
