Rihanna Thinks Things Will Be Great With Chris

RihannaElleUK

It’s almost a little scary to nearly read the very same words that her TV counterpart said earlier in the week via a somewhat fictionalized story, but Rihanna really believes that she and Chris Brown are destined to make it work this time around.

“You don’t have that feeling with everybody, so when you have it, you don’t want to let go of it. I would definitely say that [Brown] is the one I have that kind of relationship with”, she said to Elle UK for their upcoming issue, regarding her now public reconnection with the man who beat her back in 2009.

“[We've got] “a great friendship that’s unbreakable”, she continued. “Now that we’re adults, we can do this right. We got a fresh start, and I’m thankful for that.”

In case you were wondering, if we’re speaking from an age standpoint — she was already an “adult”: she was a month from her 22nd birthday and he was 20… but we’ll let her continue.

As for that headline about her wanting to be a mother, it seems like that’s way down the line, but definitely something she wants, among peace in her life.

“[Five years from now] I’ll have set some things up so I don’t have to tour for the rest of my life, even though I love touring”, she expressed. “I want health and happiness in five years. I want to be healthy and happy.”

She may want peace — but she swears she’ll never be a victim again, which is why she has those tattoos of guns on her body, calling them “symbols of strength”.

It seems like Riri is facing life with a “put it all out there” attitude — especially with those many nearly nude Instagram photos — but it’s all part of who she is as a person.

“I instagram everything about my life,” she says, “whether it’s smoking pot, in a strip club, reading a Bible verse—how crazy, I know!—or hanging out with my best friend, who happens to be Chris.”

“That’s why I’m posting pictures of myself smoking pot, to tell the truth about myself,” Rihanna explains. “I’ve got so much to think about, why bring all this extra s–t by being dishonest?”

I already think she’s being quite dishonest to herself, which is sad in itself — but it seems like she’s going to live her life as unapologetic as she chooses to.

Let’s just hope it doesn’t backfire.
