If they were hoping the media would be the only place they would be hounded for their recent reconnection, they thought horribly wrong.
The saga of Chris Brown and Rihanna (who recently celebrated Riri’s 25th birthday together; seen above) is getting a fictionalized turn in next week’s episode of Law and Order: Special Victims Unit.
While they obviously won’t be called out by names, there are going to be some striking similarities between what airs on the show and what actually transpired following that February evening where Riri’s face was beaten to a horrible pulp.
The episode, entitled “My Funny Valentine” even goes as far to have a popular female pop star’s pictures of her heavily bruised face splashed all over papers.
A promising singer is brutally attacked by her boyfriend, a popular hip hop star. ADA Barba (guest star Raul Esparza) works to build a case, but the victim refuses to aid the prosecution and, despite Detective Benson’s (Mariska Hargitay) best efforts, continues to put herself in danger. The case quickly spirals into a media circus, perpetrated by both the defendant and his uncompromising attorney (guest star Jeffrey Tambor) … Special appearances by Perez Hilton, Dave Navarro and Wendy Williams.”
I think it’s fairly certain that the twosome the actors are emulating will not be watching this episode.
