Kim vs. Kris: I Quit!

15th Annual Bridgehampton Polo Club Blue Star Jets Polo Match Series - Week 2

The divorce saga of Kris Humphries and Kim Kardashian has lasted longer than their actual marriage by this point — almost more than six times over, if you do the math — and you would think by now, someone would officially be tired of dragging this entire thing out.

But I bet no one actually believed it would be one of the lawyers who would give up first!

Kris’ rep during the divorce proceedings, Marshall Waller has asked to be removed from the case with claims that he and the basketball star have had an”irremediable breakdown of the attorney-client relationship” and says that Kris is just abusing the legal system to make sure his union to the reality starlet is annulled rather than divorced.

Kris still has an out-of-state lawyer, but just like the Lindsay Lohan thing, needs to have someone in the California legal field to handle the situation in that state.

In Waller’s motion to be relieved as counsel, he zings Kris by saying they have “irreconcilable differences” — EXACTLY the grounds for a garden-variety divorce.

One final thing … lawyers for Kim and Kris are in court this morning, and as we previously reported, Kim’s lawyer, disso-queen Laura Wasser, will demand a trial date as early as next month.  The question now — will Kris argue that since he just lost his California lawyer, he needs more time?

At this point, if I were the judge, I’d find a way to quit myself.

The boring saga goes on…
