Another Musical Reunion

FOBSave

Following the steps of Destiny’s Child, another popular group from the early 2000′s secretly reformed and released their first new single in 3 years.

Rockers Fall Out Boy surprised everyone when they dropped their new track, “”My Songs Know What You Did In the Dark (Light Em Up)”, which is the first release from their upcoming album, Save Rock and Roll, coming later this year.

But let’s be real: were they really missed? And can they even handle being back?

The band went into a hiatus in November of 2009 when guitarist Pete Wentz felt his name became “become a hindrance for the band”.

In other words, lead singer Patrick Stump wasn’t the main attraction — and when he decided to go solo, no one really cared about that either and he decided to go on his own hiatus, saying he wouldn’t “release any of his solo stuff” for a while.

So what happens now? Well, I guess we’ll let your ears be the judge of that.

Check out the new single and video after the jump, which features rapper 2 Chainz.
