"Alex Cross" Los Angeles Premiere - Arrivals

I take my original quote about this being better than a Lifetime movie — this is some straight Trapped In The Closet kind of craziness!

So Oscar Pistorius is currently free on bail (he was released not too soon after the ruling), the lead investigator in the case went a little gun crazy as well and now, it turns out that the murderous streak runs a little closer to the Olympian: his older brother is currently also facing charges of murder after accidentally hitting a woman on a motorcycle with his car.

Carl Pistorius has been charged with culpable homicide — according to eNCA news, a South African TV channel — stemming from a car crash in 2010, in which prosecutors say his reckless driving led to the death a motorcyclist.

Carl’s lawyer recently told the station that Carl “deeply regrets the accident,” but was adamant his client was not drunk at the the time of the collision, adding, “There is no doubt that [he] is innocent and the charge will be challenged in court.”

Carl’s charges (the very same ones Oscar’s lawyers are hoping to get things dropped down to) hold a 15-year sentence should he be found guilty. The trial was set to begin last Thursday — the same day the former Olympian was bailed out — but has been postponed until March.

And you thought your family had issues.
